Davao Medical School
The medical training lasts 6 years and the students complete their studies with an MBChB degree. The graduate program consists of three specialists and is 9 semesters, followed by a one-year internship with rotating housekeeping. Graduates then complete a compulsory 12-month full-time internship in an accredited hospital, after which they apply for registration with the Davao Medical School and Dentist Board, which intends to practice medicine in the country. This provokes many Indian students to apply to study at the MBBS in the Philippines. They come from abroad and apply to the Indian government for an MCI certificate. Nur students who pass the screening test conducted by the Medical Council of India are allowed to practice medicine in India. Indian students can take MBBS courses in DMSF at a low cost of about 8lakhs per year.
